Now I love to gift give, that is definitely one of my love languages, but we have really been working on decluttering with our kids and how good it can feel to not have a ton of stuff we don't really need. So when the time for boo baskets came around it seemed kind of silly to make them a basket full of stuff they didn't really need. And I mean I always try to be intentional about getting stuff they can use not just random toys, but it still didn't feel right to do. So instead of a full basket this year I decided to do a spooky book bundle for them. I got them each 2 halloween books and one sticker activity book that can be used in the car on the few roadtrips we have coming up. Paired with a cute stuffie, flag, & tag and it was all set! They absolutely loved the bundles and didn't feel like they were getting anything less, and I feel better about having less things ;)
