Love Basket Ideas for Boys

by Cameo Pinder |

So I don't know about you but I struggle to find cute things for boys around Valentines day! My son is all boy through and through and me being the way I am I still like to stick to the theme of the holiday, but that can be tough when its all about pink and hearts and frilly things!

So here is what I am going to be putting into my son's love basket this year! I of course add candy to it as well and other small little trinkets but I always try to make these baskets fun but also useful and stuff I won't just be tossing in the trash in a week.

  1. A shirt or some PJs! I was obsessed with all the boys valentines shirts from Made By Molly Co but I had to get this one because my husband used to coach crossfit and my son has long curly hair that he refuses to cut ;) Click HERE to see the full collection of shirts at Made By Molly
  2. I love to include a stuffed animal for my kiddos and these knitted stuffies from Red & Olive are to die for! Click HERE to see their full collection of knit stuffed animals and dolls
  3. A book is of course a must! I have quite a few options for boys in my Amazon Valentines Day Book Favorites. You can see that full list HERE
  4.  Obsessing over these cute socks from Shop Little Millers! They have the cutest designs for everyday and holidays! Check them out HERE
  5.  I love to add coloring books, stickers and other fun craft things to do together! this one is from Amazon
  6. Just like coloring books I love to add in some new art supplies and I couldn't resist these heart crayons from OOLY! i absolutely love all their stuff. Check them out HERE.
  7. So while I do bows for my daughter I do hats and headbands for my son! I found this one on Amazon HERE
  8. A fun cup! My kids love using themed cups so I grabbed a cute heart one from Walmart! I usually grab these in the Target Dollar Spot or in the Walmart holiday section!
  9. Last but not least I top it off with a fun pennant flag and a name tag! These are reusable each year and I always reuse the flags in holiday decor or on their bookshelves!

Other Ideas you can include:

*Bubbles

*Blankets

*Fun Plates, Silverware, Bowls, etc.

*Small toys (hot wheels cars, monster trucks, etc.)

*Shoes (I love gifting them new shoes in baskets because they get excited about it and it fills the basket with something they desperately need anyway!)
